At Water Street Studios we prize art in every form including dance, video, film, music, performance and creative writing. During our Friday gallery hours we showcase emerging and established artists who wish to reach a local audience including our members and gallery visitors.
Demonstration, conversation, imagination, inspiration, plus
great art! These are just a of the few things you might experience during open studios on Second Saturdays. Join us for this unique opportunity to see works in progress as well as finished pieces.

On the second Saturday of each month a select group of Water Street Studios resident artists will open their working studios to the public. Explore the artistry. Come and see WSS in action!

Second Saturdays hours are 6-10 p. Please join the featured artists for an evening of creativity, snacks and refreshments. Come and browse, chat, linger over a cup of coffee, make it a date night!

Second Saturdays are free and a great way to purchase art directly from the artist.

Friday Features:

At Water Street Studios we prize art in every form including dance, video, film, music, performance and creative writing. During our Friday gallery hours we showcase emerging and established artists who wish to reach a local audience including our members and gallery visitors. If you are looking for a special place to play music, hold a poetry reading, book signing or CD release party then the Water Street Studios Friday Feature is the perfect venue for you.

Friday Gallery Hours are 5-9p. Performers must commit to at least one hour. To be considered for the Friday Feature schedule, please submit a demo, description of your work or a link to your website showing your work. Submissions should be made via the email listed on the right or by contacting the office at 630.761.9977. If you are interested in performing at WSS, please fill out our Performance Information Sheet and return it back to us.

Performing artists are not paid by Water Street Studios, but gain exposure and benefit from the marketing of WSS Friday Feature. Performers do, however, maintain all profits from the sales of their books, DVDs, and CDs.

ART Movie Night:

Every Third Friday of the month Water Street Studios hosts "ART Movie Night" from 7:00pm - 9:00pm

Admission is free. All are welcome.
