Spring & Summer 2013

"Every child is an artist. The problem is how to remain an artist once s/he grows up." -Pablo Picasso
If you're ready to bloom like spring daffolils, take a look at the amazing lineup of summer classes and workshops including many brand new classes for children & youth to keep summer creative.
As we continue to feed our souls and wash away the dust of everyday life, Water Street Studios is here for anyone ready to nurture their inner artist.
Spend four weeks investigating techniques which are the 'Art of Watercolor' or dive into a 'Tie-dye Workshop'. Sign your young ones up for 'Beginning Printmaking' where s/he can stamp and print with items such as leaves, fruit, vegetables, string, and even fingers! Sign yourself up for 'Relief Printmaking' and create your own woodcut blocks, then print your own work. Sign up for a 'Make It, Take It' workshop and create a copper cuff bracelet or a riveted cocktail ring, or get serious and collaborate with other artists in 'The Art of Innovation' a professional development course which will investigate techniques to find new ways to define what is meaningful and rewarding in your work. Whatever your passion, or curiosity, we've got something for you.
