Studio Floorplans

We have a variety of
studio space available for rent. For more information or to set up a tour of available studio space, please direct inquiries to Joi Cuartero by using the email link on the right.

We took an historic limestone building located in downtown Batavia and created an amazing space with affordable studios.
Water Street Studios art center offers a variety of spaces for artists working in a variety of different mediums. The second floor studios are comprised of artists whose focus is primarily in 2D media such as photography, oil and acrylic paint, printmaking, as well as small scale sculpture and porcelain restoration. The first floor studios are home to artists who work with 3D materials such as metal, ceramics, plastic and wood as well as those creating sculpture on a larger scale.

Please note:

We currently have a waiting list for renting the studios. If you are interested in renting studio space, please let us know so that you can be next in line. We strongly encourage volunteering in the gallery before signing a contract for a studio. Even though each artists is contractionally obligated to do 4 hours a month of gallery volunteering, Water Street Studios selects artists that have volunteered to work in the gallery and have gotten to know our family of artists before considering others for a residency here with us. We also need you to send in a resume of other oganizations that you have volunteered for and examples of your work. Via website or disc's are acceptable.

Artists should submit our studio application along with a bio and your website address, if available.
