This high-quality, frameable poster, sixth in an annual series, features the painting "Bellevue" by Batavia artist Greta Bell. The original painting was purchased by the Art In Your Eye Festival and will be on permanent display at Batavia City Hall as part of the City Art Collection.

Greta Bell is a self taught artist who lives in Batavia with her family and is a resident artist at Water Street Studios. She especially enjoys creating paintings of buildings in Batavia and "Bellevue" is of Bellevue Place, the historic structure located at Union Avenue and Jefferson Street. Bell's artwork can be viewed at her Website: gretabell.com.

The 18" x 24" poster is being sold at the price of $10. Festival donors of $50 or more will receive a complimentary poster. The printing of the poster was generously donated by BFC Integrated Print Management of Batavia.

More information about all of the fine art posters and Art In Your Eye Festival can be found at the Website: http://artinyoureye.com/poster.htm.

I've always said that I paint what I see.
Sometimes I create new stories
-imagining new space and form-
while other times I am reaching into the past looking to evoke a memory.
By re-imagining the familiar I aim to make my viewer rediscover their surroundings or re-examine on oft overlooked corner of their neighborhood.
The greatest reward for me is drawing an emotional response from my viewer that reaches beyond mere aesthetics into the heart.
