Video games make us cheer, laugh and throw controllers across rooms. They take us on adventures. Tell captivating stories. Give tricky little puzzles with time limits. They let us show off our virtual prowess to our buddies. Bore us with loading screens.

Did you have a special dust blowing technique for getting old game cartridges to work? Ever spend an entire night playing video games with friends? Find yourself humming a tune from your favorite game? In this portfolio you are encouraged to explore your childhood or inner childhood experiences with video games through traditional print media.

Theme: Personally Influential Video Games / Open to your own interpretation.

Media: Any traditional Printmaking process: Relief, Linocuts, Woodcuts, Intaglio, Lithography, Serigraphy, Collograph, etc. - No digital prints or photocopies unless combined with a SIGNIFICANT portion created with a traditional printmaking process.

Paper Size: 9 inches by 12 inches. Print/image size is open. *Please use any Archival Paper or Hand made Paper. (No Exception)

Edition: 16 identical hand-pulled, original prints, include glassine sheets or tissue paper between each print, cut to match paper size. Each Print must be Signed and Numbered on the front.

Fee: $15 USD paid via check made out to: Kimberly Fredricks. This Fee covers the costs of postage and promotion of the project and Exhibits. *Fee is non-refundable.

A Portfolio of 14 randomly selected prints will be mailed to each participant early December 2012. Two prints will be kept from each edition submitted to the exchange for traveling exhibitions and promotional purposes.

All prints submitted will be put in a web gallery and may be reproduced to promote this project. For more information please visit:
