Water Street Studios Interns

Part of Water Street Studios is to develop creative talent on all levels. Part of that is an internship program in which high school and college students work with Water Street Studios in a variety of ways such as assisting with teaching a class, gallery hanging, business operations, and marketing. While our interns are not paid, Water Street Studios offers a unique opportunity to work with established professionals who come from a variety of backgrounds and are eager to share there experiences.

WSS Intern - Teala Irons

Hello there, I am Teala Irons, a recent graduate from Eastern Illinois University.  I received a bachelor of the arts degree in art history and ceramics.  I have been working with clay for the past 8 years.  The last 4 years I have studied art history of all different times and places of the world. Being surrounded by art and its creators is everything an art student could ask for.  I strive to build artistic relationships that inspire, motivate, and contemplate original ideas for the future of the art world. An art gallery is where I belong.  A curator is what I hope to be.  A passionate lover of the arts is who I am.
